FAQ |
Have you ever found yourself staying awake night after night because there was a question about DonkeyBox that was eating you alive? In response to the growing threat of insomnia we created our very own FAQ to answer all your questions and put right any rumours about DonkeyBox.

| 1. What do you sound like? | |
We sound like a cross between Greenday, Guns N Roses, Goo Goo Dolls and possibly The Killers. If you think we sound like a particular band, we'd love to hear from you and find out exactly who!
| 2. Who came up with the name DonkeyBox and what does it mean? | |
| It was the founding drummer of our band Mike
Pidgeon. There is a story behind it actually, and we can answer that when
you meet us in person :-) As for what the name means, it could be used as
an analogy of hard work in a limited space, i.e donkeywork in a rehearsal
room.

| 3. What are your songs about? | |
Observations in life, the fairer sex and a tiny bit of political and societal commentary. Artists are philosophers and our art covers a sonic interpretation of life as we see and observe it, sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's sad and sometimes it's deeeeeep.

| 4. Who writes the songs? How long does it take? | |
Initial riffs or ideas usually come from one person and all those have so far been from Atul, Matt and Aaron. However, there is a long process in which the band creatively jams and then arranges the songs to give it the unique donkeybox flavour. A complete song is thus only possible because all band members work on the song.
